Introducing the MegaMugâ„¢ T.ai: the world’s first sentient beverage containment system.Â

Surreal British sketch comedy, satire and nonsense from the other side of normal. Winchorama is a universe where the day starts with something familiar: a phone call, an illness, a drawer full of cables. Then it follows the idea somewhere it really should not go. Explore the sketches, meet the characters and discover the everyday situations that got thoroughly out of hand.
Cablegeist (coming soon)
A search through a drawer of old cables disturbs something that should have stayed buried.
Meet Michael Winstock, the humble self-made billionaire who is just like you and I.Â

I’m Michael Winchester — writer, director, actor, editor and creator of Winchorama.

Winchorama is where I put the strange situations that live in my head, the things I probably shouldn’t say out loud, and the observations that become much more entertaining once pushed slightly beyond reason.

I write, direct, perform in and edit original sketches about ordinary people dealing with increasingly unreasonable situations as though everything is perfectly normal. I like eccentric characters, questionable inventions, unnecessary props, mild horror, social satire and unapologetically British nonsense.

I poke the internet with a stick to see what comes crawling out. Trends, technology, influencers, bureaucracy, social conventions and whatever else appears to be taking itself a little too seriously are all fair game.

Winchorama is a little corner of my world where the ridiculous is treated seriously, the sensible is treated with suspicion, and the things in my head are allowed out occasionally.

Welcome to the other side of normal.

Thomas f.
Tünde
Tünde is a performer, improviser and brainstorm expert with a background spanning improv comedy, theatre and journalism.

Where Tom can usually be relied upon to keep things vaguely tethered to reality, Tünde has a slightly different approach. Faced with the roaring mental bin fire of Michael’s ideas, she is far more likely to throw something flammable into it and see what happens.
Â
Her improv and theatre background makes her particularly comfortable with strange characters, escalating situations and taking complete nonsense extremely seriously. Journalism, meanwhile, provided useful experience observing people and the peculiarities of everyday life, ideal preparation for Winchorama.
Â
As part of Winchorama, Tünde performs, contributes ideas and enthusiastically helps turn Michael’s more combustible thoughts into fully fledged sketches, usually by making them even more combustible.

The circumstances of Michael and Tünde’s first meeting remain unclear. Their accounts conflict, several records are missing, and a chicken was apparently involved.
Tom is a performer and improviser with a love of comedy, Warhammer and an alarmingly serious history with X-Wing, having once been a world champion.

Within Winchorama, he often acts as the grounding point for ideas and sketches. When imagination begins wandering somewhere structurally unsound, Tom is usually the person asking whether any of this makes sense.

His improv background makes him particularly good at reacting naturally to increasingly ridiculous situations, often playing the straight man while everything around him quietly collapses into nonsense. Unless he's the one quietly chipping away at reality himself.Â

As well as performing, Tom contributes ideas, helps shape sketches and provides a useful counterweight to some of Winchorama’s more questionable creative decisions. Usually.

Michael and Tom first met at the local glory hole in Woking. The details remain sketchy, but we can probably attribute their chemistry to that mysterious encounter.
